If you own an iPhone 6, chances are you've experienced the frustration of a dead battery when temperatures drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Your phone suddenly shuts off, leaving you unable to take family photos or use your device in the great outdoors. To overcome this issue, I created a phone holder that accommodates a battery pack and hand warmer, allowing you to stay connected even in freezing conditions. The Alfway 3-in-1 rechargeable hand warmer, available on Amazon, is my preferred choice due to its low heat setting, which prevents overheating your device. A small amount of hot glue secures the battery pack in place. While I don't guarantee this setup won't damage your phone, we've had great success with it so far. The holder supports phones and cases, but larger cases might require adjustments to ensure proper fit. All camera functions and charging ports remain fully accessible. Next on my list is adding a tripod and bicycle mount for added versatility.
