Now you can have a glamorous lip caterpillar every sip from a bottle! Print this mustache and mount it to the neck of your pop bottle. This was designed to fit any standard bottle neck. If you want to make it fit a specific bottle, measure the bottle with a ruler or caliper, and design the file in Tinkercad! The how-to video is included. How I Designed This Make the Ring On a new workspace bring out 2 Cylinders from the Geometric menu. Bring out the Ruler Helper tool, and place it at an angle. Change the scale of the Cylinder to match the size of the bottle (26mm x 26mm x 5mm). Change the scale of the second Cylinder to be slightly larger than the size of the bottle (30mm x 30mm x 3mm). Turn the first Cylinder (26x26x5 cylinder) into a Hole in the Inspector. Select both Cylinders using Shift Select or Drag Select. Use the Adjust Align tool. Click the middle pin on the width and the length (NOT the height). Select both Cylinders. Group to make the Hole cut. Bring out a Box from the Geometric menu. Change the width to 3mm. Place Box on the edge of the ring. Make the Box a Hole. Select both the ring and the Box. Use the Adjust Align tool. Click the middle pin on the width. Select the ring and the Box. Group to make the Hole cut. Make the Mustache From the Shape Generators > TinkerCad Menu, bring out an Extrusion shape. Use the Gear in the Inspector window to ensure vectors snap. Warp the four vectors in the Inspector window. Play around! Have a lot of fun making a new shape! When you are happy with one half of the mustache, change the height to 5mm. Move the half mustache into place on the ring. Edit > Duplicate the half mustache. Use the Adjust Mirror tool. Click on the arrows along the width. Move the Mirrored Duplicated half into place. Select both sides of the mustache with Shift Select. Group. Select the ring and the mustache with Drag Select or Shift Select. Use the Adjust Align tool. Click the middle pin on the width. Select all with Drag Select or Shift Select. Group. Select .STL. Bring your downloaded file into MakerBot Desktop. Print!
