We crafted this miniature figurine for a colleague at work, given our frequent collaboration with Government Departments where many individuals confidently proclaim, "I Know Boats." They often assume the role of Subject Matter Experts despite lacking formal qualifications and demonstrating a lack of understanding or expertise in the topics being discussed. As specialists brought in to provide expert input, we frequently find ourselves referencing this phrase, "I Know Boats," which has become a humorous way to acknowledge their self-proclaimed authority. The irony is that our figurine depicts a boat that has sunk and is now in pieces, yet these individuals still insist on claiming, "I know boats."
