In this work lies a captivating exploration of the emotional landscape's potential manifestation on the body's surface. Visually, the flesh's growth, eruption, and engulfment of the body serves as a powerful metaphor for the way we become overwhelmed by the emotional terrain in which we reside, often feeling helpless to control it. The body appears ravaged by some unseen force, much like cancer, but for me, the image of the figure, coupled with the title, invites an open and contemplative reflection on the individual's plight.
