I-Beem
cults3d
Rather than build a flat plate frame resembling a piece of carbon fibre, I wanted a toothpick frame that exploits the structural benefits of 3D printing. The arms are based on a structural I-beam, modified to make it easy to 3D print (in terms of overhangs). This frame had its parts donered from an iFlight A85HD, an 85mm DJI whoop, paired with 2.5" Avan Rush props and 3S 520mAh packs. Frame is printed in PC-CF and weights 10.7g. AUW 92g without battery. Battery retained with a TPU loop that's attached to flight stack bolts.
