I-beam edge protection
thingiverse
A protective shield to safeguard items placed on I-beams from getting marred by their metal edges. The neighbor kids neatly positioned their bikes on I-beam supports of the courtyard's barrier, clearing space for others. I later realized that this action scratched up the bikes' paintwork, prompting me to come up with a solution. This creation is, as has been my habit, somewhat customizable. By modifying the lengths in the FreeCAD file's "sizes" spreadsheet, converting it into a mesh, and exporting for a different size, you can create a version tailored to your specific needs.
With this file you will be able to print I-beam edge protection with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on I-beam edge protection.
