"I Am A Unicorn" Rhino Statue

<p><em>This is my first design ever posted to Prusa Printers</em></p> <p>This cute rhino identifying as a unicorn is inspired by my mother's open heart for all animals, but especially those most endanger of extinction. My goal was to make something special for my four-year-old son to give to his friends for Valentine's Day that would be fun and help spread some well-needed love for the rhinoceros. Growing up on movies like<em>Legend</em> and<em>The Last Unicorn</em>, I've always thought of unicorns as precious because they are beautiful, but also often hunted to the point of extinction in fiction. Today in reality, the Northern White Rhino is down to two individual females in captivity (practically extinct) and many other species of rhino are also severely endangered.</p> <p>Please print, share, and help spread the love for these beautiful animals with the power of 3D printing!</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: Sculptures Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>NOTE: I use Slic3r to slice this .STL without any issues, however in Simplify3D I ran into problems with intersecting perimeters. The model is still manifold, but some slicers may have more trouble than others. If you have any ideas how I can improve this .STL to make it more reliable, please feel free to contact me. I'd greatly appreciate it.</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>This is my first design ever in Sculptris (or any sculpting 3D modeling program). I used Meshmixer, TinkerCAD, and Blender to add the heart, text, and make it 3D printable.</p>
