This hotel and its adjacent chapel demonstrate the fascination that the Middle Ages and the Renaissance exerted on 19th-century architects.\n\nBuilt in 1875, by Count of Briey, this estate is a beautiful example of neo-Renaissance pastiche and testifies, through its sculpted decoration identical to the original, to a real knowledge of architecture from the late 15th century and early 16th century.
