Hyundai Tucson Dash insert
thingiverse
This fits my 2008 Hyundai Tucson perfectly. I created this as a base for creating inserts with various uses, such as phone holder brackets and aux input for the audio system. This one goes in the bottom right hand corner of the 4 holes in my dash - my car is right hand drive, after all! If you change the lcy value to positive and add the width of the rectangle, it should work for the bottom right hand corner. It may require some more tweaking, but that's what makes it fun. Even easier, just mirror it: the result will be exactly what I needed. The photo shows a quick test print (low resolution) I did to check the dimensions and fit - and it worked like a charm! The triangles.scad file can be found here: https://github.com/tkoopman/Delta-Diamond/blob/master/OpenSCAD/Triangles.scad Print Settings: Printer Brand is RepRap. Printer is Prusa i3. Rafts are not needed for this print. Supports are required to ensure a strong hold in the dash. Resolution should be set to highest for the best results. Infill percentage is 10% for a nice balance between strength and weight. I recommend printing it on its side, so the lines are vertical or horizontal when inserted into the dash.
