hyundai phone mount

I modified my machine's support to suit a Hyundai I20. The base stayed intact with power supply contacts and slots for the power cable. Hopefully, it will be useful to someone else as well. If you're interested in using it as a desk stand, I also designed a desk support with a different back side named "back_side". The printing material used was Black PLA for the prototype, which is ideal for desk use. However, if you plan to use it as a car holder, it's recommended to use ASA or ABS that can withstand deformation at 40°-50°C, temperatures reached by cars during summer. To assemble this product, you'll need six screws (2x10) and a fairly hard 5x10 spring. You can find the spring on Amazon or recover one from an old device. First, insert the spring into the "front" of the holder. With a screwdriver, pull the spring and insert it into the pin of the "top gripper". Make sure it's seated but slightly out so you can see the pin. Next, insert the two "bottom grippers" into their seats and close everything with the "back side". Tighten the two lower screws. Assemble the car holder as shown in the photo with the "back mount". Place the latter on the back and tighten the four locking screws. Alternatively, you can print and mount the "desk mount". To enhance grip and prevent slipping while driving, consider gluing pieces of rubber from an old inner tube to the phone holder.
