After installing Geckoslayers' innovative design for my car window clips, they broke within weeks, prompting me to enhance their durability by adding extra material in strategic areas without compromising their functionality. To accommodate printing tolerances, you may need to mill out some space sections. A 2.5mm drill bit appears to provide a precise fit along the slide rails. If you have access to a Dremel or similar tool, that would be ideal; however, I successfully used a drill bit and gently pushed it sideways as needed. I discovered that reconnecting the wire is relatively straightforward when you firmly push the assembly against the non-rotating pulley and then apply a G-clamp between the clip and the end stop to release the spring tension. This allows you to reattach the final wire by hand with minimal effort, as seen in the accompanying photo.
