Hyundai Elantra/Tiburon 5 speed manula transmission shift linkage bushing
myminifactory
These parts are designed to fit 5 speed manual transmissions from the mid 2000s, specifically those used in the 2.0L inline 4 engines that were code named "Beta 2." They may also be compatible with older or newer Hyundai and possibly Kia manual transmissions, as several of their designs were licensed from Mitsubishi and shared between models. A shoutout to the Hyundai aftermarket community here in the United States, which is relatively small for these older Hyundais. These parts are installed on my 2003 Hyundai Accent, into which I swapped the drive-train from a junkyard Elantra. They may fit a stock Accent manual transmission as well, but since I switched from an automatic, I can't confirm this. These bushings are meant to replace the semi-hollow rubber ones used in the factory and provide a more precise, less "mushy" shift by eliminating slop in the original bushings. You can find aluminum, brass, and urethane bushings for this car for 30-40 USD, but I think that's too much. Note: To use these parts, you'll need to print two of each file. For safety reasons, it's a good idea to stick with higher temperature materials since these parts sit under the hood, on top of the transmission, which can get very hot. I printed mine with Micro Center's Inland brand red ABS. I've used these bushings on several trips so far, ranging from short to long distances during the summer and haven't seen any signs of melting, cracking, or fatigue. For added safety, consider using solid infill when printing.
