Hyundai Coupe (Tiburon) IACV restrictor plate

Hyundai Coupe / Tiburon 2.0L 2003 - 2008 Hyundai Coupe / Tiburon 2.7L V6 2003 - 2008 Tested on a 2005 model, it had a rough idle when starting up, but the throttle dropped faster. Maybe bigger holes would make it start normally, I haven't tested that yet. There are two versions of intake air control valve restrictor plate, one is round and one is like this. Make sure to measure the size of your intake air control valve and scale to make the design fit perfectly. Don't print this without scaling yourself and use heat resistant filament like ABS or PETG! Description by BDR Racing Development: What does a restrictor plate do? - eliminates rev hang - better quality shifts - more aggressive idle - better throttle response - better acceleration from low speeds/rpm Instead of using the iac valve to regulate your idle speed, the plate holds the valve wide open and the holes control the idle. This allows the Ecu to tune itself a more consistently which is a significant improvement against one that's always adjusting. More vacuum is built up in the intake manifold which improves throttle response. It also provides a more steady idle. The rpm drops quicker so the transmission doesn't have to wait for the rpm to drop, it will shift faster and harder when you're at full throttle but keeps a smooth shift when driving normal. On top of all the functional stuff, it makes you have an awesome intake noise now because it pulls more air in at a higher velocity from an idle.
