Hyundai armrest replacement clip
thingiverse
The clip on my armrest broke, so I decided to design and print a replacement for it. The new clip is printed with ABS plastic and has only 7% infill, making it very flexible and able to absorb shock from the spring and body. The lock head features thick walls to make it strong even with low infill. To install the clip, simply use the guide on the back of the model to center it and push it down until it clicks into place. I hope this part is useful to someone; I'm including the source SketchUp file in case anyone needs to customize this model. Update: If you're experiencing issues with the clip not holding the armrest tight, I've added a new version 2 of the model that will fix this problem. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 7% Notes: I use Skirt/Brim during printing, as it seems to work better than Rafts in holding the model in place.
