Hyphylite Landing Foot

Hyphylite Landing Foot

This is a landing foot I designed specifically for my 7-inch Hyphylite long-range quad. The foot slides over the arm and also protects the motor wires from prop strikes. It's slotted on top so you don't have to desolder the motor wires to install it. Print it in clear TPU and install Racelite wires under the wire guard for an awesome light diffusing effect. I've got everything fitting well now, and it can be forced over the arm with some force. V2: I made the wire gap larger so the print wouldn't stick together as badly. Also, I enlarged the arm hole .1mm in each axis for easier installation. V3: After installing, I found the design too large. V3 takes up half the amount of arm space that V2 did while retaining the leg length. I also played with the wire gap a little and slightly enlarged the arm hole even more. It's still pretty tight for me; I have to use soap to get it to slide on, then wash the soap off. If it becomes too loose once installed, use a dab of E6000 to hold it in place. If you like the larger design, just stretch the Z-axis to your desired height in your slicer. V4: I created a radius inside the arm hole to allow more stretch when installing. Also, I tightened up the wire install gap a little. Hopefully, that's the last update. V5: I opened the arm hole even further. It finally goes on without excessive force. I added a smaller version for anyone who may want it, dated 5/22/19.
