The Hypetrain 2306 Ummagawd motors are best paired with customized soft mounts, sporting a 16mm mounting pattern for optimal performance. Since the Ummagawd Remix lacked sufficient space to secure the recommended flight controller in a soft-mounted configuration, I opted for the motors instead. If you decide to utilize this setup, note that the bottom mount is slightly larger than the top one to provide extra support for the screw heads. For the Ummagawd Remix, I utilized 8mm screws for the top mount. Meanwhile, both the top and bottom mounts feature 10mm screws, allowing for a secure thread into the motor while maintaining a gentle compression on the mounts. Additionally, applying locktite is necessary to prevent screw backout since they cannot be tightened down properly without compromising the soft mount's effectiveness.
