Hyperlow CG landing feet
thingiverse
Landing feet for the Hyperlow CG freestyle quadcopter frame - keeps the bottom of your frame elevated and clears space for more robust mounting of ESCs - I use zip-ties - no need for foam landing pads to get destroyed! This is a two-part assembly that saves weight and adds style. Finished weight for me was 4 grams per foot. The intended fabrication method involves printing two parts: Foot Body.stl: Print 4x in flexible TPU, individually for the best cosmetic appearance. Rigid Plate: Print in rigid plastic such as ABS, PETG, or even PLA if that's all you have available. Once printed, bond the rigid plate to the TPU foot with superglue. Use a small amount and be careful not to get it on the edges of the rigid plate - keep your fingers safe and aligned perfectly so the holes line up exactly. Secure the motor by bolting from the underside of your quadcopter arm through the carbon fibre, and you're done. Check out the photos!
