Hyperloop Paracord Tensioner
thingiverse
Inspired by seeing a few YouTube videos about devices for getting tarp lines up on tensions, I tested a few different designs before landing on a my take on this. Most of the similar designs have three holes, however I found that I never use the smaller hole, so decided to close this up for further strength. Using this is very simple, several videos on youtube, for example this: https://youtu.be/ySlIiNLg9L4?si=JPpTuBVIYeSpMhjV or this https://youtu.be/ZZZ7AR2ZFbE?si=ZJRrFCJ9fFFFKwCE You can scale it to your own needs, I have printed and tested it in several sizes. even a small one of 4 cm by 5mm thick has a good strength printed in PLA+, xpla or similar using super fine layers of 0,12mm, 8 walls/to/bottom layers and 50% infill. The two attached sizes works best for me. Scale it as you like... :-) The smallest I made, just around 3.3 cm long printed with esun PLA+ has now been load tested with both static and dynamic load of 15 kilos utilizing a very thin rope for more than two weeks, so it should be plenty strong enough for intended use. Ref pictures... I'm planning on doing a destructive limit test of this...
