The Pyro-Drone Hyperlite Evo top plate clicks securely into place with a locknut and a dash of hope. To prevent it from slipping, I printed a custom washer with a 30-degree notch that firmly grips the plate. My print settings were spot on: no supports, precise orientation, and a careful clean-up with an exacto knife ensured a seamless finish. For added security, you can use a drill bit to enlarge the hole or try a needle file to angle the carbon fiber cutout for a deeper seat in the washer/bolt combination. (Full disclosure: This project is still a work-in-progress as I eagerly await my parts and get this frame airborne.)
