Hyperlite Glide - Gopro Hero 3/3+/4
thingiverse
I combined mounting from GoPro Hero 5 file with shell of a GoPro taken from GoPro case model, merging them into a single piece. I added two rings to accommodate ND filters and fit snuggly on the naked GoPro lens, ensuring flattened sides for easier printing. PSA: Yesterday, I downloaded Fusion 360 and have roughly three hours of experience in 3D modeling. Working with STL files proved challenging, but I managed to manipulate the mesh after some creative workarounds. I noticed the original Glide mount features a pass-through hole for a screwdriver, which I couldn't replicate in my design. To resolve this issue, I omitted it. As a first-time 3D printer, I recommend printing with the left side facing down and using supports (I'm still learning myself). TPU would be an ideal material choice. If you decide to print this mount, please let me know how it turns out so I can gauge its feasibility for outsourcing without unnecessary costs. If you're interested, I also have a model without the lens ring available. Please indicate your preference, and I'll provide the relevant files. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
