Hyperlite Glide,Flosstyle, Flowride Session Mount

My original session mount, released two years ago, withstood an incredible amount of abuse before finally succumbing to a catastrophic failure when I accelerated my GoPro mount to Mach 5 and slammed it literally into the top of a soccer goal crossbar. I was certain that my session was lost forever, but to my surprise, it had suffered hardly a scratch. I experimented with other people's mounts that looked cool, but none of them lasted long; not a criticism against their design, perhaps my own print settings were the culprit - who knows? My friend, a mechanical engineering major, showed me his design for the RVS Duke, and I knew he was onto something revolutionary, so I set about modifying mine to mirror his and added a crossfire mount because mounting the antenna vertically is the way to go. This is essentially a remix of my old mount with enough new features that it's practically a brand-new creation. It will fit most Hyperlite frames thanks to their unified mounting pattern. I've successfully adapted it for use on my OG Flowride, which remains strong after converting to 6 inches and a 6-inch Flosstyle. It may not be perfect, but my mount is strong, convenient, and looks good in my opinion - you do need to exercise caution with the lower element of the Immortal T, as I shredded one tonight; ziptieing it to the camera standoff works, or you can choose to live on the edge... As is typical with my designs, they are public domain, and I don't care about licenses or whatever... The .stl file is for a 30-degree mount, which I double- and triple-checked to ensure accuracy. Similarly, the .stp file is available for people to modify and hopefully create an even better design! One way to make it stronger is to eliminate the SD card access, but its convenience kept me from making that change.
