Hyperlite Floss 3.0 widget
thingiverse
I designed a component that attaches to the back of the FLOSS 3.0's aluminum plate, specifically for strain relief purposes. The existing slots in the plate can cause issues when zip-tying power leads to the plate, as they exert downward pressure on the ESC/FC stack. This widget fills the gap between the plate and the leads, minimizing the distance they're pulled down by the zip tie. Since my Hobby Wing 4in1 45A ESC cannot sit flush against the aluminum plate due to its raised press nuts, I created 2.5mm risers using a 3D printer. This modification elevates the stack and eliminates the need for this widget, which sits 4mm above the ridges on the plate. If your stack is shorter or taller than mine, you may need to scale or reprint the widget accordingly.
