This is a custom LED emblem replacement for the Hyperkin RetroN 77 Atari 2600 clone console. The standard OEM white plastic LED diffuser just wasn't flashy enough, so I set out to create something more eye-catching. My inspiration came from the classic "Have you played Atari today?" TV commercials that many of us remember fondly. This project was a long time in the making, with several iterations before reaching a final design. While it's still somewhat a work in progress, I'm fairly satisfied with the mod at this point and am taking a break to focus on other projects. For now, you can choose from several different designs, each of which has been uploaded for your convenience. My goal was to create mods that could be printed by anyone, without requiring any cutting or complex modifications to your game console. All that's required is some light soldering if you want to change the stock LED color - a slow/fast color-changing 5mm LED works particularly well in this application. This mod can also be adapted for use with dual extruder printers, although I don't have access to such equipment and couldn't figure out how to combine the models myself. If anyone wants to lend a hand and create a remix that's compatible with dual extruder printers, feel free to give it a try - thanks in advance! The two basic mods included are one designed for use with a custom Neopixel (WS2812) LED strip, while the other is intended for use with the stock LED or a replacement of your own choice. Either mod will work just fine with stock 5mm LEDs, so it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
