Hyperion Class Battlecruiser Remix
thingiverse
When I first printed this model, the smaller angled parts of the nacelles were prone to breaking off because the interface between them was incredibly thin. To fix this issue, I made some edits to the nacelles themselves to create a sturdier connection. Next, I designed the display stand with the intention of supporting the model by sliding it backwards into the stand. The model is securely held in place by the lip on its back side, making it easy to remove and return it to the base whenever needed. Keep in mind that you might need to slightly widen the groove on the stand that holds the model, depending on your printer or slicer's tolerances and the resolution you're using. In my case, I used an Xacto knife and had it fitting perfectly within just a couple of minutes. The model shown was scaled up to 180% and cleaned up nicely after removing the supports.
