<p>Original grip extends into the body of the notebook and prevents the lid from closing. This replacement has a different profile that will allow you to work with the laptop lid closed. There will be no ugly gap and hub will be more stable.</p> <p>But you can work even with the lid open without noticing difference compare to original one. It is a 100% functional replacement of the original grip.</p> <p>It has no magnetic attachment, but has no effect on the function.
