These parts will convert the core of a hypercube to allow it to be driven from the rear, keeping the front clear of belts and motors. I have this currently installed and it is working well, with some potential tweaks to be made in the future. **Parts Required (# if reusing parts from original mounts):** M3 x 50mm Bolt - 2 off. (2) For stepper idler bearing. M3 x 8 or 10mm Bolt - 8 off. (0) For stepper motor fixation. M3 x 22mm Bolt - 2 off. (2) For front idlers. M3 x 35mm Bolt - 2 off. (2) For rear idlers. M3 washers - 10 off. (10) For stepper fixation & idler bearing. M3 Nylock Nut - 4 off. (2) For frame idler bearings. M3 Nut - 2 off. (2) For stepper idler bolt. GT2 16T Smooth Idler Bearing (or 4x original bearings) - 2 off. (2) For stepper idler. GT2 16T Idler Bearing - 2 off. (2) For rear idlers. GT2 20T Idler Bearing - 2 off. (2) For front idlers. New GT2 6mm Belt - Your original belt length will be too short. **Please Note:** This conversion requires 8mm Y shafts as the rear idler bearings mount had to be combined with the rear clamp bracket. Print one of each part. **Updates:** 20/02/2021 - I have now run this design for more than 150 print hours, and it seems to perform well, with no issues with prints or belt wear. - The only issue so far has been that the bearings on the two rear toothed idlers have failed. These were of questionable quality, so I replaced them with a known good supplier. I will continue to monitor this to see if it is a design issue or a problem with the manufactured part. It may be that I redesign the idlers to have a larger tooth count and use dowel pins to secure them to ensure a tight fit on the bearings. 22/07/2020 *- Adjusted offset to _front_roller.stl to correctly align belt path.* *- Added hammer nut slots to _rear_mount.stl.*
