Hypercube Radial Fan
thingiverse
Noticed that the original hypercube fan shroud only blew air on one side of my prints, so all my PLA prints had one side that would droop and look rough. This new fan design accelerates the flow of air from the blower fan and directs it evenly around the part. With this improved setup, I've achieved smooth PLA prints with no issues and great overhangs/surface finishes. It took me about 10 design iterations to perfect this solution and ensure a seamless integration with the original induction probe designed for the Hypercube. For optimal results, print this fan in a high-temperature resistant material such as PETG or ABS. I successfully printed mine in PETG without any warping from heat coming from the hotend. Enjoy using this improved hypercube fan shroud! P.S. Please note that the STL file is not oriented correctly - to print it properly, orient it vertically like shown in the picture from S3D.
