Hypercube prusa mk3 bowden conversion
thingiverse
This adapter plate is a bespoke remix of the Prusa Mk3 extruder, converted to a bowden, featuring an induction sensor mount that can be secured directly to the X carriage of a hypercube. The adapter plate has undergone significant modifications, whereas the clamp/cover plate remains an unaltered original Prusa Mk3 part that has been uploaded here for convenience. The adapter can only be fastened with 3 m3 bolts to the hypercube's x-carriage as opposed to the standard 4, yet it is more than robust enough. The hyperprusa part is the 18mm induction sensor version; for the 12mm version, use the hyperprusa 12mm part. The primary advantages of utilizing the Prusa parts are well-established: they are known for their good design and provide a more compact assembly compared to the standard hypercube hotend setup, thereby regaining a few mm of build height. You can utilize the standard Prusa Mk3 fan shroud that is available at https://www.prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printable-parts/. The team behind Prusa deserves immense gratitude for crafting such an exemplary design.
