The tesseract, also more commonly known as the hyper cube, is what we get when we extend a cube to the 4th dimension. Though we can't visualize the whole thing at once, we can infer its properties based on math as well as by studying the cube in smaller dimensions. For example, a line has 2 corners, a square has 4 corners, and a cube has 8 corners. Thus, the tesseract must have 16 corners. Fascinated by this, I 3D modeled a projection of the tesseract to use as a small planter. This planter is perfect for succulents and other low maintenance plants. There are 4 holes in the top to add water to the cube. The entire cube is hollow on the inside. This allows the water to flow through the edges and eventually up to the bottom of the planting area. The holes in the bottom allow the water to travel upwards into the soil. Any extra water will be stored in the edges of the cube until the plant eventually absorbs it all. Print Settings:Though this model is intended for small plants, it's scalable for your needs.Make sure there are least 2 wall perimeters and 4-6 bottom solid layers.Supports are needed for the bottom of the planting area and the top edges.
