Hypercube mainboard mounting plate for ctc i3 pro b
thingiverse
I crafted this custom mount specifically for my mainboard, which I removed from a CTC i3 Pro B. It also features mounts for two standard MOSFET boards, providing ample space for these essential components. The mounting holes on the mainboard are strategically positioned 72mm x 93mm apart, allowing for easy installation. The MOSFET boards, which I've come to rely on after a close call with my old mounting board, have a spacing of 42mm x 52mm between their mounting holes. To date, I've been using the high-powered MOSFET expansion module from Banggood (https://www.banggood.com/25A-MOSFET-High-Power-Heated-Bed-Expansion-Power-Module-M), which operates remarkably cool even under heavy loads. This custom mount also features mounts for a large 120mm computer fan, with the mounting holes spaced 105mm apart. To secure the fan in place, I recommend using M3 threaded rod and the accompanying fan mounting plate. I successfully mounted this custom solution to the top of my 2020 aluminum frame, allowing it to hang down elegantly.
