Hypercube Improved Y Endstop
thingiverse
I reworked the Y motor mount for two key reasons. Firstly, I fortified the X-Y motor mounts to enhance their overall strength and stability. Secondly, I relocated the Y endstop switch from its original position on the left side of the motor mount to the right side, where it's easier to access due to the lower placement of the motor mount. The stock design confined the Y endstop switch in a tight spot, hampered by the motor and rod combination. By moving it to the right, I gained more space for better alignment and ease of use. I also opted for smaller endstop switches, which are not only affordable but also highly reliable and compact. I've attached the original Sketchup files, which utilize a single M5 screw to secure the 2020 frame and trigger the switch with a gentle hit on the XY joiner's right side, just above the bolt that clamps the X rod in place.
