Hypercube Extruder Mount on 2020 Profiles
thingiverse
I remixed the hypercube extruder from Tech2C to mount it directly on the 2020 extrusions, making my life much easier. To enclose my entire hypercube, I increased the frame height to fit the bowden tube snugly inside. This modification is a must-have for full enclosure. A significant advantage of this design is that the bowden tube doesn't need to be as long when mounted directly on the 2020 extrusions. I've created three versions of "ExtruderA": normal horizontal, twisted 45° to reduce bowden tube bending, and twisted 45° with a coupling for an input nylon tube. This allows me to bend the tube 45°, making it easier to pass through the enclosure. Each version requires "ExtruderB" for proper functioning. I also tweaked some aspects of the original Tech2C compact extruder design: * Reduced space for the filament, making it simpler to insert new filament. * Thicker plate now measures 8mm (originally 5mm) for added stability. * A lever has been added to the gear counterpart for improved functionality. Edit: I've since created another version with a longer body, available on Thingiverse.
