Hypercube Evolution Z Axis (Three Stepper)

Hypercube Evolution Z Axis (Three Stepper)

thingiverse

These are the Z axis parts I designed using three individually controlled steppers. The frame build started with a standard configuration spreadsheet, which led me to aim for using those standard 3030 (main frame) and 2020 (heated bed frame) extrusion lengths. Consequently, all basic dimensions are based on Scott's original models, allowing for easy conversion if your build is based on the configurator as well. My other Hypercube Evolution remixes can be found by visiting this collection: https://www.thingiverse.com/StvPtrsn/collections/my-hypercube-evolution-remixes I'm using a Duet2 WiFi with the Duex5 addon board to enable independent control of three Z steppers for tilt correction. For more information, see this Duet3D documentation page: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Bed_levelling_using_multiple_independent_Z_motors Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. If you use this design, please post a make and/or remix. Step files are provided for all parts. Although I've built the printer to the point where it will home, tilt adjust, mesh bed compensate, and the X carriage can be moved in its full range of motion, I'm going to leave the work-in-progress tag on this until I get some prints off it. Please check the change log below for any updates.
