Hypercube Evolution XY Carriage remix with endstops

This is an optical endstop mount designed to work seamlessly with stock 100mm extrusion spacing, specifically tailored for use with Warham's upgraded XY carriage. It features a clever design that allows the wire to pass through and exit on the side in the rear, running smoothly down the extrusion. To secure the sensor in place, I employed two M3x10 screws and M3 square nuts, while a single M5x8 screw paired with a T nut is used to attach the housing to the upper Y extrusion - the mount itself boasts a slotted design for effortless height adjustment. It's essential to carefully sand the end of the optical endstop where it will come into contact with the extrusion. I've also taken the liberty of modifying the XY carriage on the side featuring the Y end stop, widening the gap between the two upper rod clamps by 3mm to provide greater flexibility for adjusting the Y endstop flag. This modification is designed to work in perfect harmony with my custom-made Y endstop mount. To eliminate any potential issues, I've remixed the end cap to remove the holes for the X-rod, as my Zyltech kit rods didn't extend far enough past the XY carriage. For those using a similar setup, I've attached the modified XY carriage (featuring 10mm Y rods and 8mm X rods with nut inserts) along with an extended X flag. Warham has graciously shared various versions of his design to accommodate different rod configurations on Thingiverse - feel free to visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469902 for more information.
