Here's a way to upgrade your Hypercube Evolution to MGN 12. This is just for the X and Y axes so far. Initial tests show significant improvements in print quality compared to original wave designs. This is largely due to the increased stiffness of the mechanical construction, which absorbs negative acceleration forces much better and prevents sagging due to self-weight. Update: There's now a Version 2 E3D Mount that prints with fewer supports and less complexity. The air channel support has been significantly reduced. This includes the mounting plate for the 40mm fan for the E3D heat sink. Update: A completely new mount is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3532820 Update: The optical endstop holder has been adjusted. The endstop is now fully enclosed in the print part and can be secured with two screws.
