I'm not designed to function without a sensor, which I don't need and adds unnecessary weight. I'm printing on 300mm x 300mm bathroom mirror glass from IKEA or hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. 5/12/18 Added a quick Rev 2 that I've had sitting here for a while, but it hasn't been print-tested yet. The main goal of the Rev 2 was to add a threaded location for a quick disconnect and a Bowden tube. I'm a bit confused about how the Nimble is supposed to work without one unless the filament is somehow directed above the Nimble. I don't want to do that, so this is my possible fix. I've been busy lately, but I'll get back to this later. Rev 2 is labeled "Nimble 4 Sold." I also made a slight change for the Byrd tube section to make it easier to print. 7/12/18 Added threads for the Bowden tube holder and some other adjustments. Changed the Berd tube for a 1/8th inch tube. I'm going to slip the tube over the 1/16 tube that the Berd uses. I'll post more pictures when it's assembled. 10/28/18 I've been using it for a while now, and it works fine. There are a few things that I would have liked to change, but they're not big enough deals to reprint. 1. I might have moved the screw for the clamps for the Byrd to the side. 2. I would have made a little more access to reach the Nimble screw easier. 3. I would have made the nuts for the Nimble captive. I'm using this with a Volcano, but I think it would work on a regular hotend. I'll switch one of these days. Cheers 3/4/19 Modifying the current design with goals: 1. Not be quite as tall, lowering the top about 10cm. 2. Make the Berd air tube a bit easier to install so that exact bending isn't required. 3. Integrate a 30mm or possibly 40mm mounting bracket for the hotend heat sink. 4. Move the PTFE tube connector mounting location so it's not in the way of an Allen wrench when trying to remove the Nimble mounting screw. 5. Make the Nimble mounting screw captive to make the Nimble easier to install. 6. Modify the nible drive clamp for the newer, larger red drive tube. (The drive wire is supposedly 0.5mm larger.) I'm told the drive wire clamp hole needs to be drilled out to 3.5mm. Not sure why Zesty wouldn't sell a new drive cable clamp.
