Hypercube Evolution - New extruder mount and fan duct
thingiverse
After constructing the original hypercube, I discovered an evolution that surpassed my expectations. The components had undergone significant improvements, and the use of steel rods for the X-axis and thicker steel rods for the Y-axis necessitated an upgrade. However, to my surprise, the fan duct proved inadequate. It blew air directly onto the hotend, causing it to make contact with the heater. Consequently, I began working on a new fan duct design. I quickly realized that I needed to redesign the extruder mount in order to accommodate my modified parts. To meet this requirement, I employed a 40x40 fan for the E3D V6 and a 50 blower fan for layering purposes. As testing continues, preliminary results indicate that the new setup is performing exceptionally well.
