Human: 1) Housing for mounting on a frame made of 30x30 profile, connector DB25 2) Part for mounting cables on the printer carriage. Design Idea The idea of a cable that stays securely attached to the carriage at all times but has a connector on the printer frame is genius. I found inspiration here: https://hevobr.wordpress.com/hotend-cables-and-connector-en/ I agree with the author completely - the carriage and extruder form a self-contained unit with a specific setup. It makes no sense to disconnect the cable from it for minor repairs or maintenance of the carriage. It's much more practical to design the system so that you can easily remove a hotend or fan, or a separate sensor from the carriage without having to cut or solder anything. If there are significant changes needed, you'll just need to replace the cable itself. Features of My Design When designing these parts, my goal was to make them so that the cables, connectors, and fasteners can be removed from the printer without any cutting or soldering. Therefore, no detail contains closed contours. Files for SolidWorks are attached in archives.
