HyperCube Evolution: Holder for the inductive sensor

The inductive sensor holder is a crucial component for the application of a standard extruder mount on the HyperCube Evolution with long hotend, such as BP6, E3D v5 or E3D v6 Voolcano. SCOTT_3D, the creator of the HyperCube Evolution project, has designed an excellent compact extruder mount, but when using a long hotend, the standard inductive sensor must be lowered to a point where it cannot be secured with regular fasteners and adjusted normally. I have developed a holder that allows for normal height adjustment of the sensor while minimizing its impact on the dimensions of the standard extruder mount. With the clamping screw removed, you can easily disconnect the sensor cable from the mount without additional connectors. The holder is printed using PLA plastic, as it is also intended to be printed with PLA. The parts are bonded together using cyacryne glue. After printing, I recommend creating a small indentation (0.1-0.3 mm) in the area where the holder will sit above the extruder clamp. This makes it easier to perform a needle file adjustment than complicating the part and the printing process. Note that the parts on the extruder mount are closely packed, making it challenging for even the compact holder I offer to fit snugly. In my case, I had to use a needle file to carefully trim away some material from my fan bracket to accommodate the holder. To gauge how well the holder will work with your hotend's sink, you can quickly print a small thin pattern called "ProbeHolderPlacer" first - it matches the top of the holder exactly. The project files are available in SolidWorks format for further details. The required parts list includes: 1 x Screw M3x16 (DIN912 recommended), 1 x Nut M3, A few drops of cyacryne glue (for PLA or your specific type of plastic).
