Hypercube Evolution (HEVO) bed leveling nut knob
thingiverse
My significant enhancement for the incredible Hypercube Evolution printer. A knob for leveling the bed. Designed using OpenSCAD (source code included) - feel free to modify as needed. I've prepared two versions. One is for M3 nuts, while the other, pictured here, is for M4 nuts. The M3 variant remains untested. All you need are M3 or M4 DIN934 nuts. The hole for the nut has a conical shape, ensuring backlash occurs only at the open end. To eliminate this, simply screw in the nut and press it into place until it reaches the end of the hole. The internal space is 0.1mm smaller than the nut, preventing any backlash from occurring there. A thin barrier inside the hole allows for printability without supports. After printing, remove it with a drill.
