I'm redesigning the extruder mount for an 18 mm proximity sensor endstop, and I need some assistance with cooling. To achieve this, you can utilize the 40 mm fan duct from a specific build on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2305218. If you prefer to use the original fan instead, simply print the Fan-Adapter as part of that build. On September 8th, 2017, I added an adapter for using standard fans.
