The original design falls short, as the sensor consistently reads lower than the nozzle height. A temporary fix involving just two screws doesn't seem like a reliable solution, especially when six press nuts are readily available to ensure a more secure connection. To make the device functional right off the shelf, I've made some adjustments to get it working properly from the start.
