Update 24/7-18: Cooling and Mass Reduction on the X-Axis Better cooling and reduced mass on the X-axis were needed, prompting a design change to nozzles that press fit into the opening of the fan. This approach significantly outperforms previous designs, albeit at the cost of aesthetics. Future revisions may address this. Utilizing existing 3510 5V fans from a 3510 stockpile instead of the noisy blower used in the Hypercube was a primary goal. The revised design also conceals wires as much as possible. The carriage was modified to be wider, and endstops were removed since sensorless homing is employed with Duet. This upgrade targets the Zesty Tech Nimble and Piezo sensor configurations. Ebay acquired Delta BFB03505HA 35x35x10mm 35mm 3510 5V 0.17A DC Brushless Blower Fans for fanducts, while a Noctua fan was used for the 40mm version. The Step file has been added to this update.
