Hypercube Evo Mechanical Z End Stop
thingiverse
This is a Mechanical End Stop for a 3030 Aluminium Frame originally designed specifically for my Hypercube Evo. Having encountered persistent homing errors with my Optical Z Endstop, which may be due to low-quality optical end stops or possibly cross talk from various connections or subpar wiring, I opted to revert back to a mechanical end stop featuring an M3 bolt for easy and accurate Z homing along with ample vertical height adjustment, allowing for effortless swaps of height-related parts such as Volcano nozzles. Since making the change, my Z Homing has become significantly more reliable than previous configurations. You will need two M3 nylocs and a M3 bolt, length to suit the required height adjustment. The end stop employed is a standard end stop commonly used on the Creality Ender 3/5 and CR10. I have uploaded several adjustable brackets that enable different height variations. It is suggested that you print in one of the uploaded configurations. The end stop holder necessitates a small amount of support to the extrusion retention tabs. Printed with Amazon Basics Red PETG at 30% infill and three perimeters on an Ender 3 Pro.
