Hypercube BLV Conversion
thingiverse
These are the components I utilized/revised/created to facilitate a BLV conversion on my Hypercube. I extend my gratitude to Tech2C for originally designing the Hypercube and to EdNiedziejko for merging it with the BLV mgn Cube through his BLV Fusion work. I also acknowledge the assistance, guidance, and support provided by the team at ZestyTech. Several iterations were necessary before arriving at the final version of these components. The carrier plate underwent significant modifications and combines a basic blank plate with the generic Zesty Nimble V2 mount and cooling clamp. A rear duct fan was used instead of the more compact one included in the V2 design, which provides better cooling but reduces the Y dimension. To prevent damage to fans, I opted for the 40mm fan cover after experiencing issues with fin breakage on a couple of them. This modification also slightly reduces the Y dimension but recessing the mounting cap head screws mitigates this effect. The mount for the induction probe was lengthened and moved forward by 5mm to accommodate clearance for the fan duct, and the mating face was narrowed to ensure proper alignment when attaching it to the carrier. The belt clamp for the front carrier is a snug fit but once installed with tightened belts, it should rarely require adjustments.
