I designed this extrusion to seamlessly integrate with linear rails, allowing for effortless mounting right on top. The height of the components is deliberately crafted to sit perfectly flush with the x-carriage - at least, that's the plan until I finalize the X-Y joiner, which might just shake things up. The Hypercube Motor mounts are specifically engineered to accommodate NEMA 17 motors and come equipped with a built-in tensioner for added convenience. One area where this design still needs some fine-tuning is the motor mounts themselves. After printing, they can be a bit of a challenge to clean up - but I'm working on it. If you have any suggestions or insights, please don't hesitate to share! The corner pulley mounts are actually a remix of some clever corner brackets that I've come across here. They make use of a 5mm x 35mm shoulder bolt for added stability and security.
