HyperCube 45M
thingiverse
I love the sleek design of Tech2C's HyperCube, but I decided that if I'm going to remix it, I might as well make it more capable in terms of build volume. I already have a small scale printer with a 150x150x150 build volume and found that the size prohibited my ambitions completely. Ergo, the 45M remix was born from necessity. I named it 45M based on the intended build volume of 300x300 bed and 500 height - ergo 45 million square millimeters. Print Requirements: 4 x Bed_Supports_45M.stl 8 x z_rail_supports_45M.stl Rough dimensions were calculated from my raw materials calculator here - http://funkydiver.com/hypercube-materials. This calculator is currently designed for single Z axis stepper layout, but once I've finalized my design, I'll be updating it to a dual Z layout. I also used QuickBike's remix of the fan duct at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2157334.
