Human: Customized M4 Variant of Tech2C's Excellent HyperCube 3D Printer This 3D printer modification is a notable departure from the original design. The most striking changes can be seen in the M4 holes used for mounting plastic parts to I-type extrusions. Check out these related links for more information on my customized HyperCube 3D printer build: Only modified components are listed here. For the complete list of parts, please refer to the original instructions. Modifications M4 Holes I've swapped M5 screws with M4 screws for all parts that attach to 20x20 extrusions. This allows me to use Type I extrusions, which have a 5mm slot and can accommodate M4 nuts. Round Holes The rectangular slots in the original design have been replaced with elongated round holes. Since I'm using t-slot sliding nuts, there's no need for large slots that allow for flexibility. Slot Guide for Z Endstop Adjust I've added a small slot guide to prevent twisting of the Z endstop adjust mechanism.
