We have previously uploaded a hyperboloidal gear model with the gear ratio 1:1 (both gears are identical) and shaft angle of 45°. This time, the gear and pinion are quite a bit different in size and number of teeth -- the gear ratio is 40 : 11 -- and the shaft angle is 60°. The pitch surfaces for this gear set are two tangent hyperboloids. The stand for this model is designed in the shape of the projections of these pitch surfaces onto a horizontal plane. The model requires two M3-12 metric countersunk bolts.
