He/She created an outstanding tutorial that demystifies the math behind designing hyperboloid gears in blender, making it easily accessible to beginners. I decided to recreate these intricate gears in Fusion 360 for practice purposes, as it is my preferred software of choice. By applying the formulas provided by otvinta3d and adapting his instructions to Fusion 360, I successfully translated this complex design into a user-friendly format. Print at a 50% scale for optimal results. Without the frame, these gears can still serve as an impressive desk toy, showcasing their unique design and functionality. I have included Step files for those who wish to edit or modify the design, providing endless possibilities for creativity and innovation. This project was primarily designed to test my design skills and push me out of my comfort zone. However, it resulted in a fascinating model that brings a mostly theoretical concept to life.
